Airlie Beach Bowls Club wish to thank the following grant providers for their generosity.

  • The Queensland Government Sport and Recreation in Feb 2024 provided $7,500.00 to Airlie Beach Bowls Club to ensure quality inclusive opportunities for Queensland women and girls to participate in sport and recreation activities.

  • Active Clubs Round 3 – 2023. Department of Tourism, Innovation and Sport (Sport and Recreation)
    IND-AC03-2023-0402. Used for 6 sets of Bowls for School Students – $2,500.00
  • Volunteer Grants 2021-2022. Through Federal Mbr for Dawson, used for Ride on Mower purchase $4,180.91.
  • Queensland rural and Industry Development Authority. Adaption Grant Program for Covid loss of income. March 2021 $10,000. Used for Insurance & council Rates.
  • Whitsunday Regional Council. Sport & Recreation Club 2020 & 2021 & 2022 – $3,000 each year. used for POS for Bar & Car park garden beds.
  • Queensland Government and the Gambling Community Benefit Committee. Approved 25/9/2020: APP-024148. Install solar panels and batteries, auto sliding entry doors and a glass washer for the bar – $34,432.47.
  • Department of Housing and Public Works (Sport and Recreation). Approved 2/10/2020: SRGSRP-ARIRF01- 2020-5991. Install solar panels – $17,000.50.
